Our Mission
The mission of Teaching for Jesus Ministry is to empower Sunday School volunteers by providing training materials so they can feel confident teaching the Word of God to young children each week.
Giving teachers lesson plans that are age-appropriate for all children, including learners with special needs, how to love God and love our neighbor is the passion of our ministry (Matthew 22:37-40, KJV). Sunday School volunteers help children learn about the love Jesus has for them by sharing their time, talent, gifts, love, and most important, sharing the good news of the Gospel!
Empowering Sunday School volunteers will help children, ages two through seven, learn Bible stories through song and encourage all children to fall in love with Jesus at an early age. All Sunday School volunteers have a special gift, and our passion is to help them discover theirs.

Our one year Sunday School curriculum for children, ages 2-7, offers 52 lesson plans with Scripture, songs, videos, Bible stories, virtues, and activities to help teachers have the tools to guide children through every book of the Bible, by offering fun lessons in the creative arts

We offer workshops online and onsite at your church or location, specifically focused on biblical principles concerning leadership, and what the teacher role can look like for all volunteers.
Uplifting bible verses and loving messages to inspire all volunteer teachers and childrens ministry staff
Bible Passages and uplifting messages are sent to your church weekly to print or pass along to your volunteers and staff, allowing reflection time through the Holy Word of God.
Sunday School Volunteer Teacher Training Workshops Available at your Church or Online beginning January 1st, 2027!
Jesus spent his teaching ministry on earth sharing Gods love, teaching about His Kingdom, and reminding His followers that He was "the way, the truth and the life" (John 14:6). Jesus wanted all the earth to know that He was the only path to reach God. Teaching for Jesus Ministry desires to help young children learn about this special love of Jesus, learn how to glorify God the Father, and teach about the fruits of the Spirit, by providing supporting training for Sunday School volunteers, with Bible based curriculum.
To support our local churches in Huntington Beach, TeachingforJesusministry.com will also be offering onsite volunteer training workshops on a donation basis the first Sunday of each month, beginning January 1st, 2027. Perhaps the church can offer a gratitude lunch for the volunteers, while Nancy Holden (Grammy) provides a fun, uplifting 1–2-hour workshop that will inspire, encourage and bring joy to the hearts of all Sunday School volunteers that spend their time in service, helping our next generation fall in love with Jeus.
Volunteers will love connecting with others, learn biblical principles for their role in teaching children about the Word of God, and enjoy singing fun children's songs along with playing instruments that we provide. Teachers will learn techniques along with helpful hints on working with all learners in different ways to support their families.
